Montana Woodworks Return Policy
Checking, a Natural Process
Checking is a natural process that all log furniture is subject to. "Checking" or "cracking" occurs when the wood releases moisture during the natural drying process and often occurs across the annual growth rings. Checking does not affect the structural performance or the integrity of the wood. The degree of checking will vary from product to product and even from log to log. Small Pinholes scattered throughout some logs create additional contrast and beauty.
These characteristics add to the uniqueness of our furniture and lend it a unique, rustic appeal that is so very popular with rustic furniture owners. As always, if you have questions or concerns about our log furniture, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
We have a 90 day no questions asked return policy. You must provide a copy of the original receipt and location of purchase. The 90 days start on your date of purchase and we must receive your request before the 90 days end. Unless being returned under warranty conditions, the shipping cost of returning the product(s) will be deducted from your refund unless prepaid by the customer.
